| The DiVinci Code Book is produced with a book mark in it. The book mark is removed and the spectator is allowed to freely check out the book. After he is satisfied, the magician takes the book back and hands him the bookmark instructing him to insert it anywhere in the book. |

| When he has done so, the magician squares up the bookmark and turns his back while opening the book to the spectators selected page. Spectator then notes the page number and first word. |
|
| The bookmark is set aside and the spectator is handed the book and the quill pen. He is asked to pretend on the cover to draw a circle around his page number. |
|
| Upon opening the book to see if the page is circled, the spectator is amazed to see the page missing! Torn from the book, where only moments ago he saw it there. |
|
| Sitting in plain sight the whole time is a beautiful antique Cryptex on a stand. |
|
| Spectator is directed to remove the Cryptex from the stand and to enter the word on his page as the secret code. |
|
| Amazingly the Cryptex opens, and inside is the spectator's chosen page with a circle drawn around the page number.. The torn edges match with the book |
